By downloading, installing, or using LocalScan AI ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms apply to all users of the App on any Apple device.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
LocalScan AI is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payments are processed by Apple. We do not handle billing directly and have no access to your payment information.
Your purchase entitles you to use the App and receive all future updates at no additional cost, for as long as the App is available on the App Store.
Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with the App Store refund policy. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly, but please contact us at [email protected] if you experience any issues.
All documents, images, and scans you process with the App remain entirely on your device. We have no access to your content at any time. You retain full ownership and responsibility for any documents you scan or export using the App.
You agree not to use the App to scan or process any content that is illegal, infringes on third-party rights, or violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
LocalScan AI collects no personal data. All processing is performed on-device. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
OCR and AI results are provided as-is. Text recognition accuracy may vary depending on document quality, language, and handwriting. Always verify critical information extracted by OCR before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
The App, including its design, code, icons, and all associated content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or maintain compatibility with new versions of iOS. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time, though we will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the App shall be resolved in accordance with Apple's App Store terms and applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
